At Adult World, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. Due to the intimate nature of many of our products, returns are subject to hygiene and safety requirements.
This policy operates in conjunction with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credits for change-of-mind purchases.
This includes where:
• You purchased the wrong item.
• You no longer require the item.
• You found the item cheaper elsewhere.
• The item does not meet personal expectations.
• You changed your mind after purchase.
Please choose carefully before purchasing.
Hygiene-Sealed Products
For health and safety reasons, intimate products cannot be returned once opened or where the hygiene seal has been broken, unless the product is faulty.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Vibrators
• Massagers
• Masturbation sleeves
• Anal products
• Kegel devices
• Intimate accessories
• Lubricants and consumables
• Personal care products
• Lingerie and hosiery (where applicable)
Breaking a hygiene seal indicates acceptance of the product and prevents the item from being resold.
Faulty Products
If you believe your product is faulty, please contact Adult World as soon as possible.
Proof of purchase is required.
Products returned as faulty will undergo an assessment process to determine whether a manufacturing fault exists.
Depending on the nature of the fault, a remedy may include:
• Replacement
• Refund
in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty
Eligible battery and rechargeable products purchased from Adult World are covered by our 12-Month Technology Warranty against manufacturing defects.
Warranty claims require proof of purchase and are subject to product inspection.
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Fault Assessment Process
Products returned as faulty may be:
• Tested by Adult World staff
• Sent to the supplier for inspection
• Sent to the manufacturer
Assessment timeframes may vary depending on the product and supplier.
Depending on the nature of the fault, a remedy may include:
• Replacement
• Refund
in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Products Found Not Faulty
If testing determines that:
• The product is functioning correctly;
• The issue relates to personal preference;
• The product has not been fully charged;
• Instructions have not been followed;
• Incorrect charging equipment has been used;
• Damage has occurred through misuse, accidental damage, improper cleaning, or normal wear and tear;
the item may be returned to the customer and a refund, replacement, or exchange may be declined.
Exclusions
The following are not considered manufacturing faults:
• Water damage to non-waterproof products
• Damage caused by incorrect charging
• Physical damage caused by misuse
• Damage resulting from improper storage
• Damage resulting from use contrary to product instructions
• General wear and tear
• Accidental damage
• Major Failures
Where a product experiences a major failure under Australian Consumer Law, customers may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement.
Consumer Guarantees
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
